This is our take on the Boer Kommando "Bitter Ender" led by De Wit against the "Khakis" (The British) at the end of the 2nd Boer war (1899 to 1902) . By 1902 the Boers were so short of supplies and clothing they took to wearing captured British uniform, as can be seen here with the model wearing a pair captured British trousers
